what "$1 pays $80" means
Prediction markets let you trade on the outcome of real events. Prices move between $0 and $1. If an outcome is trading at $0.0125, a $1 bet pays $80 if it happens. That's it. We frame every market this way so you can instantly compare how weird the odds are.
